According to AAI, India’s per capita aluminium consumption stands at 3 kg annually, far below the global average of 12 kg. To meet the growing domestic demand projected to reach 10 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) by 2030, AAI estimates an additional investment of ₹3 lakh crore (approximately $40 billion) over the next six years.
